Our commitment

Errors happen; hiding them is the failure. Every publication in the ASTNT network corrects errors of fact promptly and transparently.

How corrections work

Material errors are corrected in the story itself, with a note at the top or bottom describing what was changed and when. Stories are not silently rewritten.

Minor typographical fixes that do not change meaning may be made without a correction note.

Reporting an error

To report an error in any network publication, contact the masthead directly or write to the group using the grievance mechanism. Include the story URL and the specific claim you believe is wrong.
